Account deletion

Delete your Soaster account

You can delete your Soaster account (the Soaster app by Wowso, Inc.) and the data tied to it at any time. Choose whichever way is easiest — you don't need to have the app installed.

In the Soaster app

  1. Open the Soaster app and sign in.
  2. Go to More → Settings.
  3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

On the website

  1. Sign in at mypanel.soaster.com.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Under Danger Zone, click Delete My Account, type DELETE and confirm.

By email

Can't sign in? Email info@soaster.com from the email address on your account (or tell us your X username) with the subject “Delete my Soaster account”. We confirm the request and delete the account within 30 days.

Deleted immediately

  • Your profile: name, email address, password and time zone
  • Your connected X account, including the access tokens Soaster used to post for you
  • Scheduled, sent and imported tweets stored in Soaster, and AI-generated drafts
  • AI auto-tweet settings, RSS feeds and their posting history, scheduling templates
  • Usage counters, password-reset codes and e-book sign-ups made with your email

Kept

  • Subscription and payment records (plan, dates, amounts), for as long as accounting and tax law requires. They are also used to prevent the same X account from claiming a free trial twice.
  • Nightly database backups are overwritten after 14 days, so deleted data is gone from backups within 14 days.
