Child safety standards
Soaster (operated by Wowso, Inc.) has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page sets out what is prohibited, how anyone can report a concern, and how we respond.
How Soaster works
Soaster is a scheduling tool for X (formerly Twitter). People connect their own X account, then write, generate and schedule posts that Soaster publishes to X on their behalf. Soaster has no public feed, no profiles to browse, no messaging between users, and no way to send content to another Soaster user. Content a customer schedules is visible to that customer and, once published, on X under their own account.
What is prohibited
The following are banned outright, whether the content is a draft, a scheduled post or already published through Soaster:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and any image, video, drawing, AI-generated or text depiction that sexualises a minor.
- Sexual solicitation, grooming, sextortion or any attempt to sexualise or exploit a person under 18.
- Advertising, linking to, trading in or directing people towards CSAE material or services.
- Using Soaster's AI features to produce, rewrite or promote any of the above.
Soaster is not intended for children. Our Terms require account holders to be adults, and the app is rated accordingly.
Report a child safety concern
Anyone can report, whether or not they use Soaster. You don't need an account and you don't need proof — tell us what you saw and we will investigate.
Helpful details: the X username or Soaster account involved, a link to the post, and what you observed. In the Soaster app you can reach this page from More → Settings → Report a child safety concern.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. You can also report directly to the authorities, including NCMEC CyberTipline (US), Internet Watch Foundation (UK/global), or INHOPE for a hotline in your country. Content published on X can also be reported to X directly.
How we respond
- We aim to acknowledge every report within 1 business day and treat CSAE reports as our highest priority.
- We review the account and the content it has scheduled or published through Soaster.
- Confirmed CSAE means immediate removal of the content from Soaster, termination of the account, and a block on re-registration.
- We preserve the related records as required by law and report to the relevant authorities — for the United States, the NCMEC CyberTipline — and cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
- We do not store, reproduce or forward suspected CSAM except as required to report it to the authorities.

Compliance
Soaster complies with applicable child safety laws in the regions where it is available, reports CSAE to the relevant regional and national authorities, and follows the child safety requirements of the app stores that distribute it, including Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and Apple's App Store guidelines. These standards are reviewed at least annually and whenever our product or the applicable rules change.
